  • San Sebastian has long been recognized as one of Spain's top destinations for the arts, gastronomy, and sports. Nestled between the north coast of Spain and the foothills of the Pyrenees, San Sebastian is referred to as Donostia in the native Basque language of Euskera. World famous artists like sculptor Eduardo Chillida and fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga have found inspiration in this magical city that hosts our two and four week summer language and cultural immersion program.

    San Sebastian has always been home to strong, independent and open-minded people. For students interested in art, music, European history, and sports, our San Sebastian summer program is a perfect fit.

Structured Conversational Spanish Lessons

Classes are taught by full-time Spanish speaking faculty certified in teaching Spanish to study abroad students.

Exciting Activities & Excursions

Admission to museums as well as all group transportation while abroad is included in the program tuition.

From tapas tours and visiting local museums, to surfing and coastal hikes - each afternoon offers something different.

Enriching Home-stay Immersion

Go beyond traveling like a tourist and live like a local in a cosmopolitan Spanish city.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with your home-stay is included.

Safety & Caring Supervision

Each session is facilitated and led by a team of 2 - 3 on-site program directors.

Support for your experience abroad begins the moment you enroll with personalized guidance and orientation materials.

Director teams are a bi-lingual and bi-cultural mix of locals, Spanish teachers, and former study abroad students.

The directors' job is to facilitate well-organized programs and offer student support - allowing you to have fun and live in the moment!

Suggested International Flights

All sessions begin and end at Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD). Air travel is booked independently, and you are free to use miles, points, or any airline. You can choose to travel on flight itineraries that include the suggested flights listed below, or book travel on any flight that arrives to Madrid before 10:00 A.M.

Suggested flights are likely to have others who you can meet before the program. All students, regardless of flying on a suggested flight, are in contact with a dedicated staff member who tracks flights on travel days and are met by a program director when they arrive abroad.
