The historic seaside gem of the Spanish Basque coast, San Sebastian has been recognized as a European Capital of Culture and is one of Spain's top destinations for the arts, music, and sports.
San Sebastian is situated on the coast of the Basque Country. A city that pre-dates the Roman Empire, San Sebastian is referred to as Donostia in the native Basque language of Euskera. World famous artists like sculptor Eduardo Chillida and fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga have found inspiration in this magical city that will be host to our impactful language and cultural immersion program.
San Sebastian has always been home to strong, independent and open-minded people. For students interested in art, music, European history, and sports, our San Sebastian summer program is a perfect fit.
